...now I'm glad we decided to cancel the weekend away, after all. 
Edit: One of my dear friends has asked if I have made good on those threats to make myself cheerful through baking. I have indeed been baking, and getting all cheerful about it, and writing it all down. Unfortunately, the arrival of the blizzard, and the attendant change in barometric pressure, has given me a honking great headache. I am waiting for this sucker to pass. Once it does, I'll be back, really.
