What a lucky woman I am, dear friends. I now have a Molly Goatwax original valentine to call my own. Is this not beautiful? Thank you, dear Molly.
In other PTMYB news, Lloyd is headed to the doctor tomorrow. Two weeks ago, he had what we thought was an allergy attack, which became a low-grade sinus infection (which he gets from time to time, and which always disappears on its own), which has now turned into ringing of the ears, a ripping cough and what we hope is not conjunctivitis in both eyes. He spent the weekend in terrible pain, and I felt so powerless to help him. When he gets better, I am buying him the biggest box of chocolates allowable by law.

I hope the doctor has a magic pill that will fix Lloyd right up… so that he can eat chocolates.
Well...in my case, the chocolates themselves are the magic pill...good fer what ails ye, as they say. In any case, here’s hoping that Lloyd is already on the mend, and that you get to have a delightful albeit late valentine interlude.
I heard on antiques roadshow how antique valentines can sometimes be worth upward of $5. Be sure to keep that pretty one in a safe place for the next 100 years.
Saw the 10lb chocolate bar at T. Joes. I resisted getting it “for the kids” but just barely.

Ah nothing lets a person forget a sinus infection like the biggest box of chocolates allowable by law. After all, rotting teeth out of one’s head is quite a distraction from the pain of a sinus problem. Chocolate is quite a comfort food.
Which just goes to show that you, my dear are the most loving person a guy could ask for. So if Lloyd complains about his bad luck in getting a sinus infection and other discomforts, you will remind him of the sweet and wonderful nurse he has treating him! Helloooo nurse!
