Every time I forget just what a lucky girl I am, the universe is kind enough to remind me. Today I came home from a long and glutinous day at the box factory and found this valentine in the mail, made by the beautiful and brilliant Molly Goatwax. Oh, Molly, thank you. How lucky I am to have you as a friend.
Lovely card. I managed to buy Mr. KW a present but forgot to get him a card.... There followed a hasty interaction with red card we happened to have, silver pens and humble pie...!
wasn’t it fabulous? after a long day, dreading the chore of going to the mailbox and being reminded of all the money i don’t have, feeling let down by the prospect of oldman’s statement, ‘it’s just like any other day...’; to find this beautiful thing waiting to please me.

i got mine, i got mine!!! it came today. i went out and got chocolate in celebration! the mail lady brought it up to me in person, even!

if only there were funnel cakes and deep fried oreo’s, cotton candy and two foot corndogs…
(sorry, recent trip to the state fair still has me giddy. me, giddy. imagine that.)
