Och. This is what happens when I post a photo and then tread sleepily off to bed. This is actually a shot of the garden behind the Hotel Cavendish in London, where Lloyd and I stayed overnight upon our arrival in the UK and the day before our return to New York. I posted it as a mood elevator because ever since our return to New York, I’ve required a lot of mood elevating.
But you’re right, I did have a wonderful weekend. The Dali exhibit was a stone-cold blast. I was going to post a link to a jpg of “Soft Construction with Boiled Beans” but I was afraid I might trigger, er, strong reactions. I did indeed see the lobster phones, as well as a holographic image of Alice Cooper and a sketch of Harpo Marx. (It made perfect sense to me that Sal was a friend of both Harpo and Alice.)
