When Lloyd and I passed this restaurant on Leith Walk, my first thought was "Oh! This is the restaurant Warren Zevon wrote about! Must take picture now!" My second thought was, "God, I miss Warren."
Then I realized that the title of Warren's song was not "Werewolves of Edinburgh," so, in all likelihood, this was not the restaurant that inspired him.
I still miss him, though.

Tvindy, I may have missed a subtle joke there, but if you were serious, you’re wrong. A simple search reveals Edinburgh uses 555-. Just like 911 doesn’t work in many countries, we’re not the centre of the universe. (Except Bakerina who does indeed live in the city at the very center.)
Aw, heck, once again y’all flatter me too much, but once again you won’t see me insisting that you stop.
‘mouse, have I subjected you yet to my “as long as NYC insists on maximum dollar extraction for every square foot of real estate, it will no longer be the center of the universe because the next generation of creative thinkers and dreamers will be priced out of the city and will move to places that welcome them, like, say, Eureka Springs, AR” rant? If not, check your calendar for your next available four-hour block of free time.
Michele, you are a peach. No two ways about it.
Tvindy, you are very silly, but not at all obnoxious. Congratulations on surviving your finals. I’ve been slack in my commenting, but not in my reading, never. That’s some to-do list you’ve got there.
